  1. Overview of Belbin Team Roles theory
  2. Understanding ourselves and others’ behavioural styles
  3. Review of individual reports
  4. Understanding opposite team role styles and how to improve interactions with our opposite styles
  5. Communicating with different team role styles
  6. Belbin in relation to different stages of a team (Tuckman’s Stages of a Team)
  7. Review of Team Reports
  8. Questions and answer session
  9. Action planning – what each participant could do to further embed and apply Belbin Team Roles theory back in the workplace, identifying 2 or 3 practical objectives for the individual, team and organisation.

What Participants Gain

This workshop helps participants understand their behavioural style as leaders, managers and employees, and raises awareness of their individual strengths and areas for development — giving teams a shared language for how they work together.

Pre-module work: Completion of a Belbin Report. Where used, the report is referenced throughout the workshop to ground the learning in each participant’s own profile.
